Since we're talking about social media, I'd like to know what everyone's favorite social media sites are. Right now I really, really like Instagram and Youtube.
I think I like Instagram more than Twitter, Snapchat, etc. because it is so organized. I often find my Twitter feed full of stuff I don't particularly care for or about, and I also feel like Snapchat updates all the time, which I don't particularly appreciate. I like how Instagram only has pictures and/or videos that people that I follow post (along with the occasional ad). This feature ensures an organized feed, which I enjoy.
Youtube is a fairly new favorite for me. Last year, my little sister showed me this youtuber, and my life changed for the better. That first youtuber opened up the flood gates to so many more youtubers that I watch weekly and/or daily. I spend so much time watching Youtube it's kind of crazy. I also seem to find myself watching Youtube at the most inconvenient times: when I should be doing homework, cleaning my room, etc. (oops).

I have to agree, Instagram has to my favorite there are so many different types of accounts I can follow that I can't find on different social medias. It's a great way to see what people are up to. Also its a great place to share our memories, although Instagram has become pretty similar in apps like Snapchat it still has its great qualities. Instagram really allows me to explore so many different pages and in a way I feel connected to everyone. It's crazy how accessible it is to "follow" "like" a post and see so many different types of musicians, artists, dancers, celebs, and more all in a moments hand.
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree with you on YouTube as being one of my favorite social media sites. On YouTube, you can find a variety of videos from food to vlogs about a person's daily. I could also say the same for me when I go on YouTube it is at the most inconvenient times especially on a busy day where I should be working on projects or homework. Another one of my favorites is Snapchat as well. I really enjoy spending my time on the explore part as I watch snap stories just like the ones you would see on Thanksgiving from people all over the country. I remember one of my friends had told me they saw me on the explore page when I went to Pasadena to help decorate for the Rose Float Parade. It's pretty exciting to just see what people around the world are doing through the explore section.
ReplyDeleteI can't deny that YouTube is one my absolute favorites too. Though I do find that I spend a lot more time on YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and Tumblr than actually doing the work I'm supposed to be doing. Especially when I have a really important project to finish, I start drifting onto YouTube and put off work so I can go back to watching Jeffree Star or thedailysign or some Mortal Kombat fatality. While it can be distracting at times, I like that I can learn how to do new things like a song on the guitar or a waterfall braid.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite site has definitely got to be snap chat or YouTube because I spend a lot of time there. You just get sucked into it looking at what everyone is doing or some new video that has come out, is there an official addiction for YouTube?
