Christmas is a holiday that is meant to be spent with loved ones. It's a time for love, peace, and joy as well as giving and receiving. I remember in the beginning of 6th grade, I started reading Harry Potter and I basically became obsessed. Since then, watching any of the films during Christmas time is a must. Harry Potter found out he was a wizard when he was eleven, which was the same age I was when I started reading the series. It was a nice coincidence. My sudden fascination carried into December when I really wanted Hermione's wand replica among other magical Hogwarts merchandise such as her Time Turner and her purse with infinite space. I was pleasantly surprised when my parents got them all for me that Christmas, even though I didn't really need any of those things. What was an eleven year old going to do with a necklace that couldn't really transport her back in time or a wand that couldn't really shoot spells? Hermione's purse was the only thing that was remotely practical for me. But it was the sweetest thing I was given on Christmas Day.
What is the nicest gift you've ever received? What is the nicest gift you've ever given?
