But putting that aside, as Christmas is coming up this weekend, I want to know what you guys are hoping to receive as a gifts this year? I know that there are some people around the country hoping for a new phone, computer, tablet, or some other form of technology. I personally feel that the best gifts are gathering with family members to spend quality time together. We should take the time to take a break from social media and put aside the technology during this holiday season or mainly Christmas. Make this holiday season a wonderful and meaningful one while you spend time with your loved ones! I still do want to know what you're hoping to receive this Christmas whether it is something tangible or intangible!

What Are You Expecting for Christmas?
Nothing is more exciting than knowing that Christmas is just around the corner! I know there are many new pieces of technology and toys out there that a lot of us can't wait to get our hands on. When I was watching the news I found that this new toy called "Hatchimals" was becoming quite popular and high in demand. It's kind of an interesting toy to describe as it is an egg that basically hatches a creature out of it. I found the toy intriguing, but its $80 price not so much. With many parents going to stores waiting in long lines just to purchase these toys makes me wonder what makes this specific one on the wishlists of many children? Maybe it is the fact it's an egg that can hatch an interesting creature out it? Who knows!

Hey Jen! Honestly, I'm not expecting to receive much aside from a dye job, a nail polish, a trip to Ulta, and some new earphones. And while many of us are sometimes hoping for a new phone or tablet or whatever, the most important aspect of Christmas is getting to spend time with loved ones. We spend so much time being together but not truly engaged with each other that we often take our relationships for granted. So I think that while I may not receive as much as I have when I was younger, I'll have more time to spend with friends and family.
ReplyDeleteHonestly? Tamales. (And maybe some Christmas money because I ran out of last year's.)
ReplyDeleteBut even though sometimes we don't always get along, I'm really looking forward to spending time with my family. This could be my last Christmas as I know it. I feel like if I decide to leave for college, everything will be different here. I forget that I'm almost an adult sometimes. So even if my last application is due on January 3rd, I'm going to take some time off so I can enjoy my family and be a kid, for at least a little while. I'll shoot hoops with Johnny and Kyle, I'll tease my grandma, and I'll play with Tyler and the new Lego set we're getting him. And when it's all done and everyone leaves, I'll hang out with my brother and play video games (hopefully on our new Nintendo that we want).
