Don't you guys hate it when due dates just sneak up on you? I barely remembered that this was due right now after a long weekend. Any funny stories about due dates?
No really a funny story but I barely finish my college application right before midnight, at like 11:54. I forgot we had to submit 4 personal statements and I only had two from the assignment we did. It was a pretty hectic night.
One time, as an effort to stop procrastinating, I wrote the due date for an important project two days earlier in my planner. Instead I ended up staying up late two days before it was due instead of the night before because I convinced myself that was the actual due date. Also, I had this teacher that was really forgetful and some of my classmates would change due dates on the board and she'd just roll with it.
I think Mrs. Swieck was extremely forgetful and so in 8th grade we changed the date of the due date for the first draft of our research paper. It was extremely funny and we thought we were being sneaky but I feel as though she knew we changed the date, but was too nice to reprimand us about it. As for your story, it made me laugh so thank you. I might actually start doing that to help myself stay on track.

ReplyDeleteThis is so funny LOL but no I don't think I can relate anymore. Recently I got rid of my procrastination problem and it's honestly saved my life.
