Putting the Phone Down
Every night before I go to sleep I check all of my social media feeds. I watch one Youtube video and check my Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitter. I feel like this is just a way for me to relax and rewind after a long day of school and sports. However, the other day I decided to put my phone down and read a couple chapters of my book instead. I honestly think I am going to do that more often in the future. I actually found it more relaxing than looking through social media. I used to read before I went to sleep all the time before I had social media. It's kind of crazy to think that social media is replacing some of the stuff I really enjoy, but I am going to try my best to put some of my favorite things back into my life.
