You

The novel Into the Wild has spoken to me. It has gotten me to rethink my life, what I aspire to do with it, what I take for granted, and what I take advantage of. Now, I am not saying I am going to stop completely what I am doing and not go to college to wonder off into the roads less traveled in a different state, but it has pushed me to become more pure with the world. I am not even sure by what I mean by being "pure with the world" to be honest, however, but it makes me want to change myself for the better. In various accounts of going through Chris McCandless' old novels, there are passages highlighted and underlined with a title on the top of the page- some say "purity" “happiness shared only when shared”. What are some songs or books or poems you guys have read that made you want to change for the better? My cousin recommended Because Of A Woman by Malanda Jean-Claude for some interested in reading a novel in which she concluded was, “so fucking beautiful you would be willing to kiss the woman in front of you” Comment some please!!
